🥁Week 1 Update for our PTL Dollar Fundraiser! Keep up the great work - thank you for supporting our school!!

Thank you to our 7th Graders for leading us in chapel this morning. They wrote and performed skits about September 11, Patriot Day and the importance of our Pledges to the American and Christian flags.

We hope you can join us to be led in worship by our 7th grade class this morning. We have raised $157 so far for missionaries Roberto and Katie Weber, serving in the Dominican Republic through Mission Central.

The 8th graders are selling World’s Finest Chocolate Bars to raise money for their trip in May to Camp Luther for Outdoor Education. This trip is a great opportunity for us to learn in God’s creation and create lasting memories as we graduate from Emmanuel-Faith.

Runza Day is coming! This is a great fundraiser for the York chapter! Runza will generously donate 10% of sales from Tuesday, September 17th. Our York Runza is even more generous, and lets us preorder gift cards and frozen Runzas! Be sure to get your PTL Fall fundraiser sheets turned in by the end of the day on Tuesday to be counted in Week 1 ! The next week starts on Wednesday, Sept. 11 and Mr. Wellmann will announce updates after chapel. Thanks for working hard to support our PTL this last week!

The Youth Group at Emmanuel (known as ELY) starts back up tomorrow, Wednesday, Aug. 28th at 7:15pm - meet in the gym and and bring a friend!

Emmanuel-Faith and Little Blessings will again have a walking float parade entry for the Yorkfest Parade on Sept. 7th. All E-F students and families from our littlest students at Little Blessings all the way up to our 8th graders and supporters of our school are welcome to join!

Our 5th graders are our very first Class of the Week! This group describes themselves as great, crazy, and full of laughter. They emphasize their faith in God, recognizing that while they are all sinners, they are forgiven and loved by Him. A wonderful blend of faith, fun, and energy! Calling all 6th-12th Graders! 💦 The ELY Pool Party on Sunday, August 25th is almost here! 🌞 A forecast of sunny and 96° sounds perfect for an afternoon of cold water and fun with friends! Permission slips are available in the school or Emmanuel church office.

Wednesday Reminder! We dismiss at 2:00pm today (and every Wednesday). Bus riders are dismissed at 1:45 pm so that buses can stay on schedule. If your student(s)' after school plans need to change, please let the school office know before 1:30 pm.

Hailey Uffelman will be featured in the 2025 “Nebraska: Don’t Waste It!” environmental calendar. She was honored last Friday at the State Capitol in Lincoln along with 12 other students from across the state. Her artwork was selected from over 800 entries- Way to Go!!! #TeamEF
